Garrulous Glaahk Gondor2222
I loved the original Geneforge I, and would very much like to find a way to bring in some of the textures from newer Geneforge games with higher resolutions to my copy of G1, but any attempts to alter the dimensions of the textures in the folders leads to massive graphical glitches. Is there a way for me to alter the way the game displays textures so that I can display larger images in G1?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The early games use a different size graphic sprite than the later games measured in pixels. You would need to use a program to resize each graphic to make them smaller.
Garrulous Glaahk Gondor2222
So there's no easy way to increase the size of the sprites the game's code expects to allow me to use larger sprites?
Ineffable Wingbolt BMA
You could make a backup of your 'scripts' folder and then try fiddling around with the gforscen file. bring textures from newer Geneforge games to my copy of G1 I think the file formats themselves are different though, so in addition to what Randomizer said you may need to convert them too.
