Tenderfoot Thahd midimastah
Howdy, Is the achievement "A Hand Fears Nothing" gained by killing Valera (on Torment of course)? I just finished with Dheliss in Valera's temple and reported back to Avadon, then Yannick disappears. Before I got the next mission I went back and chose the right dialogue options for Valera, won the battle, but nothing. Is this a bug? Thanks! Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Yes; I killed Valera on Torment and got the achievement, so I'm not sure what went wrong in your case. Did you use any cheat codes? Those prevent you from getting medals in the zone in which you use them.
Tenderfoot Thahd midimastah
Ah, I used the retrain code for a more optimal party because I didn't want to go back to the Fort. Does this permanently affect the area, or can I leave and come back? Thanks, Lilith!
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
I think you should be able to get the achievement if you leave the area and come back before killing Valera.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Oni of Chaos
I'm also having trouble getting the achievement. I did not use any cheat codes in the zone. I did however change my difficulty setting in the zone, because I normally don't play on Torment. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I think you have to have been on Torment difficulty from the point when you enter the zone to the point where you kill Valera. Again, changing your difficulty and then leaving and coming back before killing Valera should work, probably. I haven't tested it, though.
