Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
When player give quest which gives him/her access to basement? At least so far no1 in Fort has given anything like that (Councilor ain't counted).
Garrulous Glaahk Serene Tempest
If you're asking when or how you get access to the basement, there are two parts of it. One part you won't get access to until the endgame. The other part you can find a way into as soon as you get to Fort Foresight.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
that part to fullfill that nosey councilor's quest.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You can enter from the Barracks or Training Hall and then need to find a hidden switch, or wait until near the end and do it then when you get access from the Commander's Hall. Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
Didn't notice any hidden switches so well hidden.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Enter the underground from the Hand's Hall and go west. Follow the south wall. The wall will turn from wood to stone, then back to wood, then it'll jut out to the north a bit. The button is on the bit that juts out. Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
When you're in the room with Redbeard later, there's a tunnel visible through a window in the eastern wall. Anybody know if there's a way to get to it?
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
Yes. There's a hidden switch in the room to the north.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Yes. There's a hidden switch in the room to the north. Wait, really? I know there's a switch that opens the passage to the west of the final room -- that's the one we've been talking about -- but I can't find one that opens the passage to the east. Easygoing Eyebeast *i
I misread then. Sorry, there is nothing that does that. As far as I can tell, it's a red herring.

Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
... or it's a hint that we will be visiting this place again next time ... It's conceivable, but probably not. There are small unreachable areas in a lot of Jeff's games, many of which never get revisited.
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
Even large and seemingly well developed unexplorable areas. In Exile III you had the center of Erika's Tower and a whole Vahnatai-themed area in the Dragon Lair.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
Anyway to get on lands west from Fort Foresight? Can't use FF's boats and don't see any secret pathways to there.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
West of the fort is in the endgame.

Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
On my way back to Foresight my party of course met "some" Tawornites and that Tawornite sorceress who was leading that Tawornite group following my party was well trained since she was able to attack twice then move 4-5 blocks and attack again and none of my chars was able to move after attacking. Didn't stay to fight and see what rest Tawornites who followed my party were capable to do.
