what is the value of skyrise farm?

I bought the farm--and lived to tell of it-- and explored it. There was a cold wind in the basement but nothing happened. I can buy furniture for it.

 

Does it provide any value? I hate to spend 2000c on essentially nothing.

There is absolutely no value whatsoever. It's a pointless gold sink for kiddies who want to LARP.

After a certain point in the game, when you enter the basement for the third time, you'll find a surprise, with a pretty good reward. (If you want to be totally spoiled, check out Synergizer's Item List.) Otherwise, the only apparent reasons to own the house are the bragging rights.

You get a few weapons earlier in the game than normal and some elixirs and group heal scroll. Since there are a limited number of potions in the game it may make a difference.

Kiddies who want to LARP, eh. What's the next silly thing they will do, I wonder. Play a computer game as Wizards, Shamans or Warriors perhaps. Crazy and immature, I say.

The mansion contributes to provide a considerable value, which can only be seen while you don't play the game. Wonder which.

Its a little odd because the lady you buy the farm from does say that the land is nice for farming, I thought there might be a little mini-game like thing where you throw one mushroom on the ground and then come back a few hours later and its a few mushrooms. Too bad, LARPing is still fun though.

That sounds more like Ultima 6 where you could grow wheat, have it milled to flour and bake it with water to bread... 😋
