Fledgling Fyora Blowingsand
I 've been quick-saving through the game - RARELY making another saved game. The auto-save bailed me once, but now I seem to have dug myself into a pit :0 In Skarragath I've killed the guardian BEFORE he opened the second portcullis. The auto-save triggered AFTER i killed him, too. My old saves are WAY too old to go back. Do I HAVE TO free Grah-Hoth to escape from Avernum/kill the Emperor? Or is there another way (console command) to open the second portcullis?
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
The 3 endings are completely independent of one another, so you can still do the other two. As for the gate, try pressing shift-d to bring up the cheat console, then type in: sdf 63 23 1 Then walk up to the gate. And welcome to the forums, by the way! Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Use lots of different save game slots. Some players kill off needed NPCs just because they are there.

Except when you're a loyalist Shaper in G1 & G2. Nothing is more loyal than a guy with a bunch of heads in his freezer.

Nothing is more loyal than a guy with a bunch of heads in his freezer. Well, they're pretty much all disloyal heads. 's what comes of exploring abandoned islands full of rogue creations and isolated valleys controlled by fallen Shapers and more of said rogue creations.
