Lilma
I am new to this game. I have gone through the lower level or the wretch warrens twice and met Onghor two times each time. He doesn't give me the key and I cant get out without it. At least to a place I can escape from on top. Poor Yevnor might as well still be locked up! Jerakeen
You have to find him on the upper level. He's in the northwest, behind a locked door. There's a shaman of some sort in the southern part of the building who drops that key.

Lilma
After I get out of the mines or before I go in?
Jerakeen
After you get out. Have a look at this map (possible minor spoilers). You emerge from the tunnels where that purple arrow is, near the top. Onghror is west of you (marked with an orange starburst), but you can't get to him yet. Go straight south as far as you can, staying inside the building, then head west. You'll find High Shaman Dvola in the shrine. He drops the copper wretch key, which is what you need to get to Onghror. If by chance you've already killed him, then you have it already. Keys in this game show up in your special items, not in your regular inventory, and they are used automatically when you try to open the appropriate door. Once you have it, you can get backtrack north and go through the locked doors. Then it's just a short jog west to Onghror's throne room. Lilma
Once again, thanks for the explanation. I did that yesterday and had no key. I'll try it again.
Jerakeen
Wait, you killed Onghror? Remember, the key will appear only in your special items, not in your inventory.
Lilma
You gave excellent directions. Problem was, I wasn't prepared for the big fight. Awww well, tomorrow is another day and another fight.
Jerakeen
Yeah, that's the first tough fight you have to do. Probably best to take out the shaman as quickly as possible, since he'll keep summoning until you do.
Randomizer
Use items and try to line up area attacks to hit the shaman and summons.

Lilma
I beat Onghor. It took me several tries--but I learned to save just before I went in. haha I have a slow learning curve. And I used a lot of items. Thanks again for the help.
