Kyshakk Koan RaustBlackDragon
I'm just a little baffled as to why creations, which when killed are gone forever, take some of the finite XP in the game with them. Why? From a balance perspective, why should somebody suffer in the long term from making use of shaping skills, especially if they're a shaper and have little else to rely on? Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
If you are careful your creations can survive for a long time and gain levels. This allows you to have more powerful ones with lower essence cost than making the next higher tier of creations. The XP cost isn't that great if you keep creations around. It's only one or two levels by the end of the game using 7 creations.
Garrulous Glaahk The Reincarnated Baron von Steuben
Should you decide to use the Geneforge, absorb your creations. With your new skills, you can make better creations. Also, you should absorb your creations if you destroy the Geneforge. Other than that, you shouldnt really worry about penalties.
