juckto
Does the wishing well ever do anything? I got bored and left, then forgot to ever go back
Indignus
I don't really know. Actually, I don't think it would. I haven't seen the scripts though, so don't bother going there, or if you would like to see Jeff's dialogues and to feel lighthearted... -------- -A Valdain the King
Randomizer
Usually the wishing well doesn't do anything but take money, but: "You lower someone down and scoop out a few handfuls of coins. Nothing bad happens. That you notice." "Unfortunately, you have a bit of bad luck. A few passing merchants notice what you're doing. They walk past, shaking their heads at your actions as they go." Nothing good happens either.
Rowen
I thought it gave your reputation a -1 or -2 if you took the coins?

Nobear
I know this is an old thread but, does the wishing well do anything different in A2:CS? Does it matter how much luck your party has?
Lilith
It doesn't seem to do anything. You can't even steal from it any more.
Punctuation rains from the heavens
Irritatingly, the game does have text strings for it doing something, but it doesn't seem like it's actually programmed in.
Randomizer
If you look at Nethergate: Resurrection scripts you can see in the remake how Jeff started with the older text scripts and commented out sections that no longer applied or removed the link to them. Jeff never seemed to delete code in case he wanted to put it back.
