It's also quite highly regarded here (it took second in a recent poll of "Best Spiderweb Game"), although I haven't played it yet myself. Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba Posted July 12, 2012 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Give the demo for Avernum: Escape from the Pit a try. The graphics and combat system in A:EftP are very similar to Avadon's. All of Spiderweb's games are turn based. For graphics, you may also enjoy the later Avernums (A5 and A6) and Geneforges (G4 and G5). However, I would also caution you that it's a much more open, exploration-focused game than Avadon.
