Fledgling Fyora geluf2
I'm trying to do the quest given by the Empire representative in Formello to find Kyass. She says he's in the tunnels west of Formello...but I cannot find him to save my life. I've uncovered all of those tunnels and still nothing. What am I missing here? Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
You're probably not going far enough west. Kyass IS west of Formello...but waaaaaay west. You'll have to pass over two rivers to reach him, and he lives in a big, pretty unmissable settlement. I hope that helps!
Rotghroth Rhapsody Kreador
You need a boat, or you need to take a LONG walk around.
Fledgling Fyora geluf2
Boat it is. Thanks guys.
Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
Just to clarify: you'll need a boat purchased in Cotra or Silvar, NOT one of the Fort Draco boats.
Garrulous Glaahk Wind Wolf
Is helping Kyass a good thing or a bad thing?

That depends on how you feel about him and the objectives of his settlement. In terms of gameplay, it gets you some benefits in terms of buying training and such in the town, and there's no major negative up to a point. Many of the things he asks of you, you'd be doing anyway. The trickier question is helping at least one of the other people there.
Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
Whether it is "good" or "bad" would depend one's moral and philosophical beliefs. IIRC, helping Kyass does not affect the game ending in any way whatsoever. For one (and maybe another?) quest, there are three people to whom you can turn in a spellbook (formerly owned by one Drath). This list will let you see the various rewards available (just search "Drath") and decide which one you find most appealing (assuming you want to give anyone the book instead of just reading yourself when you find it). I hope that helps!
