blackwight
He says I have to do a great thing for his people before he can teach me his secrets. So I go get them their mystical mumbling thingamajig back from the depths of hell and what does he say? Not good enough. Is there a way to please this person or is it a loose end? Jerakeen
The Answering Stone was for the Bahssikava sliths. For Gnass, you have to get and complete "Hunting Darklings" from the chief Sss-Schai (he just wanders around outside). You may already have killed the barbarian slith leader in the fort north of Ft. Emerald, but you to go through the dialogue options to get credit for it.
darint
I think that for Skatha you need to off Sss-Thsss.
Jerakeen
Ah yes, you're right, I was misremembering.

darint
But Skatha isn't the leader of Gnass. He's the blacksmith. Sss-Schai is the chief of Gnass who gives you the mission to raid the fort north of Emerald.

He meant getting Skatha to teach his skills. I never went back and spoke with him before to see if/when he would teach me but just checked and you have to kill Sss-Thsss, you're correct. Not that what he teaches is hugely important.

Ethridge in Bargha also teaches it, but she's a lot more expensive (Exorbitant compared to slightly expensive).
chimp
That's right. Hugely disappointed that she didn't drop her prices, after that favour I did her... Wasted money on her the first time through, as well, before I discovered the benefits of being two-faced in Kyass. Still need her for most of the top-row battle skills, though.
