I've entered the keep itself with the other Vhanti, done everything on the first level, and am now down to the second level. I've read the walkthrough, but my deal is that the lever to open the east portcullis NEVER APPEARS. Or if it does, I can't see it. I've fully explored the area to the south, killed the guards past the portcullis to the east, but I can't find the lever. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 The lever is extremely hard to see and Avernum 4 is the only game where lights don't work. Going south from the stairs and circling counterclockwise until you come to the window looking out on the portcullis, the lever is near you. Move the cursor around to illuminate it.
