Ineffable Wingbolt Superba
I'm not much into computer games, except for Spiderweb ones, so the statement is "Great Game" comparing to other Avernums and Avadon, which I liked the most before AEFTP. I began playing Escape from the Pit on December 18th, played intensively and with a little help from my friends I finished it today. There would be much to say but it was said already, and much I already forgotten, however one thing is for sure: it was as a trip that was really worth to. Only one minor criticusm I have and that's about the written story after the end of the three main quests. I expected to find detailed and customized highlights as in Avadon, where i.e. if you killed or not killed Zephyrine the general situation and conditions of the Lands was told to be different. The Avadon end-after-the-end intrigued me in the way I was pushed to have another go and try to literary better or however differently shape the future. In AEFTP this detailed and customized end is partly missing. I wouldn't say that Avadon end story was "useful" because you couldn't change a thing of your playthrough, but it was a, say, fullfilment, and I am a bit disappointed not to find the same commitment here. Rotghroth Rhapsody Kreador
Of course, the other big difference at the end of the two games is that you can continue to wander the world of Avernum after completing the three major quests. The end of Avadon is the end of your adventure in that game world until the next installment.
