Curious Artila daShadowalker
Are there any Permanent Recruitable companions in A6? If so how many and where The only other avernum I have played is Avernum 3, where I would start a DT/NM singleton and fill the 3 other places with recruits (1st being that slith priest after you kill those bug things, only skipped the cursed female warrior cause by the time I got her her stats were so-so for that level)

Tenderfoot Thahd Ackrovan 2.0
While there are a couple missions and dungeons where you get additional temporary support from NPC's, you can't get your party past 4. Avadon is probably the closest to recruiting actual "characters" for use of your main man.
Curious Artila daShadowalker
Well Avadon, though good, was...shallow, I am of the era of Avernum 3, and in that style there definitely arent recruitable NPCs in A6 so...
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
since party is on suicide mission doubt there would be many volunteers.
Curious Artila daShadowalker
Main reason for recruiting avernum 3 style is cause it was overpowered gamebreaking, but in a legit way
Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
Quote: since party is on suicide mission doubt there would be many volunteers. Mass Effect 2 would beg to differ on that point.
Ineffable Wingbolt MMXPERT-seraph of thermodynamics
around 60% of video games involve suicide missions.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Hell, why not wear a magical bomb on your chest? Gain levels, find a warlord, leave one of your peeps behind, say a magical blowing up word, and BAMB! You got kamikaze warriors
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
tre: except if warlord etc is magic shielded bomb is useless until shield is down.

Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Well they don't have to know. The leader will place the bomb when others are asleep, direct them, and explode them. Of course, it will be noticed how many people die after you kidnap and send in so many people, but hey, its war. What can you expect?
