Curious Artila The Draco
In G4 the game takes place in east Terrestia. West Terrestia is blocked by two gates. One of which is a swamp area. Now in G5 the game takes place in west Terrestia and east is blocked at Okavano plain and Gazaki-Uss. In G5 it is implied that Drypeak, the main area in G2, is east of Gazaki-Uss. My confusion here is that is Drypeak very small or is the swamp area Between Okavano and east Terrestia really big?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The scale changes as needed in Jeff's mind. Dry Peak was the area in GF2 and occupies a small area in GF5 near Gazaki-Uss. There probably is some extra area between the two map sections. Garrulous Glaahk Pyrrhus
In GF2 I noticed that it said Drypeak was just a couple of days walk from the Shaper Citadel. What I have wondered is where the islands are located.
Curious Artila The Draco
@ Pyrrhus The Ashen Isles of G3 are far north of Terrestia. This is stated in the Alwan ending of G5. As for Sucia island it is stated that the mainland was not far off and you spoke to the council so it is most likely not far off to the west of Terrestia. Easygoing Eyebeast Goldengirl
Actually, in the Geneforge 1 ending texts, it indicates that Sucia Island is near Dillame.
Hatchling Cockatrice Aoslare
Goldenking is correct. Sucia is near Dillame. Why the Shaper capital and its longer-settled lands are so far from Sucia is unclear.
Well-Actually War Trall A less presumptuous name.
Then again, let's not forget the vanishing continent. Moral: Residents of Terrestia are more confused about the geography of the world than we are.
Garrulous Glaahk Pyrrhus
No wonder they have trouble ending their wars I am wondering where the G4 eastern part is located at.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
G4 takes place in eastern Terrestia and G5 covers western Terrestia. You can actually come pretty close to splicing the maps together and getting a full picture of the continent. —Alorael, who doesn't think that Terrestians are especially confused about geography. Jeff's a little off, but they're probably fine.
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
With what Alorael said, eastern and western Terrestia fit together pretty nicely. You can probably find a map from a game we used to play on the forums some where. Drypeak is just east of Gazaki-Uss and probably just ever so slightly north as the Drakon fortress extends into eastern Terrestia. I just want to see the second continent =/
