Tcheedchee
Hi, after having finished the Dry Wastes, I went to The Junkyard and was very astounded to find the Dry Wastes still marked red. So I went back, and YES! Click to reveal.. In the middle of the area a little group of trees had opened at the Northern End to reveal a little clearing inside, where I encountered the Wastes Shade (or similar) The encounter was pretty short, my Guardian died pretty quickly, so I had to reload. When I tried to go through the moves again to repeat the encounter, the area wouldn't open anymore. Is this just a random encounter/easter egg, or can I trigger the event somehow? Trenton.
Im pretty sure you can do it again. Nothing is just a once in a load/save-time expirience in spidweb games
Randomizer
You probably have to approach the area in a certain way.
The Draco
Im not sure if it is repeatable but it happened to me too. The waste ghost attacked me immediately after I entered to zone.
Tcheedchee
Trouble is, I can't exactly remember, what I did the first time, except, that I went into the Junkyard, fought a few vlish, had this brainwave: 'Hey, why was Dry Wastes still red?', returned, saw the gap in the trees, – and was killed. I had saved in the Junkyard before I returned, to make sure I could return to that stage of the game, so maybe that already changed everything? Returning to the Junkyard and coming back to Dry Wastes didn't do the trick at least. Nor did additional killing of more vlish. Funny thing is, that one might think, that loading the previous save, before the desired event should do the trick. It obviously doesn't…
Triumph
I believe that it's just random. Sometimes you enter the zone and something is there, sometimes it isn't. If it's not, just keep leaving and coming back.
Tcheedchee
Yeah, now it worked out. I passed the area at least five times.
