Garrulous Glaahk Learned Noremac
So I played through this one to the end, but I'm wondering now if this is a glitch or if the quicksilver mechanic has been changed. Basically, in previous games if you equipped two things that have "+1 to action points"(usually a "quicksilver" item) then you'd have 10 base action points and could attack twice every turn. In this game I equipped the Stability Suit and the Quicksilver Sandles--both giving me +1 to action points--but a lot of the time I had only 9 action points and I never got to attack twice. Is this intentional or am I doing it wrong?
Articulate Vlish Lord_Shaper
From other forum conversations, i's say it's been nerfed along with the speed spells/items to make it harder to solo. Though I haven't tried to find out, I must say.
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Yes, each item now only gives a chance of an extra action point, not a sure thing. Same thing for the haste spell, which no longer gives an extra attack automatically. Even with the stability suit, quicksilver bulwark and assassin's boots (that's +4 AP in total), I still got only 9 APs in some rounds. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Jeff didn't want to make it easy to have two full actions every round.
