Lizzyfizzy
I have searched throughout the forumns and googled this countless times, but I can't find a second way over the river to Dera Reaches. Perikalia Orchards is way too difficult. I can't find any other way over. I'm on level 45, all three counsilars want me to cross over. And I have all the land found on the north side of the river. Can anyone help me?
Randomizer
That's the only way into the next area. If you can't fight the creations, then stay near a group of soldiers and let them clear the way with you providing buffing and healing. As long as they stay healthy they will eventually clear them all out, but you will have to shift from group to group. My problem was the soldiers were getting the death blows after I softened up the creations so I lost experience. Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. Lauren CW
Welcome to the forums. Please leave your sanity at the door. That being said, there is no other way over the river. There are two ways into the storm plains, via lerman's pass or the stoneworks, but the orchards is the ONLY way to get past into Dera. All the help I can give you without knowing your build is that you can switch the difficulty down to easy mode, and to try and stick with a patrol and help keep them alive. I believe there are also some creations on the west side of the map that you can get to assist, but I am not certain. It's been a while since I've been there. But at level 45, you shouldn't really have too much trouble with the Perikalia Orchards unless you messed up your build or something. EDIT: NINJAAAA
Lizzyfizzy
Thank you. I thought I read that there's another way. I've played every single geneforge game. And I finally lost my sanity and got a forumn account. Every time I try to survive it, it takes soooooo freaking long. And if I stood too close to a rouge I'd be attacked like no tomorrow. Lizzyfizzy
I have the warrior. I must have messe him up or something. The orchard is the only thing I can't beat.
Lilith
The warrior is one of the more difficult classes to play with in general, and Perikalia Orchards is a particularly long and hectic fight. If you have some essence to spare, you might consider making some creations that exist just for the purpose of soaking up hits from enemy creations to protect you. The cryodrayks are probably the biggest threat so consider making a cryodrayk of your own and sending it out ahead as a decoy, if you can. Emmisary of Immanence
At level 45 even a warrior should have enough essence that you can make a few creations, charge with them and not your main character, and flee to heal and recharge essence if necessary. It's a slog of a strategy, but it might help you get through. —Alorael, who could be more helpful if you posted your stats, or even roughly what you've prioritized. Do you have enough Endurance to soak up the hits? Do you have any points in shaping for those creations? Have you been sinking all your skill points into something funny that isn't helping you, like getting your Leadership and Mechanics to 20? Lizzyfizzy
I finished it. I just had to stick through it. The problem was, I'd get in a spot and all of the rouges would attack me in the same round so I had no way to heal myself. But this time I just used a baton to attack, and stayed away so I wouldn't get hit as much.
