Aelfryth
I'm Raidon and I've got Sevilin and Jenell with me. We've been trying to defeat Moritz'Kri in his tower for aeons now but can't seem to kill him. What do we need to be doing in order to defeat him? Randomizer
If you are in the northwest corner where a major demon is summoning more demons to help, then you need to destroy the demons that are warding him for damage. Check the demon names to see which ones must be destroyed to allow you to hit Moritz'Kri with that type of damage. Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. That way you won't lose it doing scripted fights.
Valdain the King
I never got passed that fight either. Was that supposed to be the last boss fight or were there more?
nikki.
For this, having a melee fighter (so probably Sevilin or Shima) and a sorceress (Nathalie) really helps so you can do a wide variety of damage types (like fire, weapon-based, acid, poison, etc). The demons, once spawned each protect Moritz'Kri from a certain type of damage; fire-ward demons will ward against fire, and so on. It's your job to kill the demons in order to damage Moritz'Kri. Since you have Sevilin with you, definitely make sure to kill the demon which blocks melee damage (it should have something like "Blade" in it's title, but if not, it should be clear which one it is) so that you can use him to pound on Moritz'Kri. I'm not sure what damage type Jenell does (energy?), but try and kill that demon as well, so that you can use her to heap on the damage. Ceiling Durkheim
Moritz'kri is about two thirds of the way through the game, so no, he's not the last boss. Quote: I'm not sure what damage type Jenell does (energy?), but try and kill that demon as well, so that you can use her to heap on the damage. Her basic attacks are energy and physical type (wand and javelin, respectively), and depending on how you built her, she may also have poison, ice, and physical damage spells. Maligned as they are, shamans actually do a pretty wide variety of types of damage...just very few that can hurt soul jars.
Aelfryth
Thanks everyone. I was ignoring the demons as i concentrated on trying to defeat only Moritz'Kri but thanks to your suggestions i had Raidon and Sevilin attack the demons and left Jenell to deal with Moritz'Kri and it worked (good job I had a large stock of health potions for her!). kensuguro
I had some trouble going with Shima and Natalie. My trick was to use the teleporting scarab to bring my guy right next to Mortiz'Kri and beat him up. I also had the wand that brings enemies close to me so that helped too. Moritz'Kri runs around too much.
Death Knight
Focus everything you can on moritzkri. Critical hits are a godsend as are any ranged attacks that are strong. He's not really that hard, i found that curses do very well against him. Hit him with vulnerability curse, then shoot an acid spell or poison spell at him. If not that, then get someone to weaken him with a weakness curse followed by physical attacks. Curses really do help out quite a bit later in the game.
