gingerbill
most skills give you a bonus at level 3 and 6 , Do you get this bonus if your skill is 2/5 and +1 from spec? e.g... if i put 3 points in one of the shaman pet skills the wolf can use a new ability , will i get this ability if my skills is 2 and i have +1 from specialization? or do you need to actually spend 3 or 6 points in the skills to get the new abilities and the spec point just adds to the power/damage? ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε
nope +1 bonuses stack separately from native powerups you need to up them to 3 by yourself to get the new abilities

Earth
I have too same thing as Speedy has, Shaman can use lvl 3 ability due item giving +1 on it.
Jerakeen
Darth Ernie's answer was incorrect; let's not say it was a lie. Yes, specializations and bonuses from equipment do count toward abilities just like "native powerups". The only difference is that you still can't raise higher tier skills above the natural level of the skills below them. For example, if you have two adjacent tier 3 skills at 5+1, you still can't use skill points to raise the tier 4 skill above them higher than 5. If you want it at 6, you have to put skill points into the two below first.
Punctuation rains from the heavens
Clarification: you CAN raise them higher with the special bonuses. You CAN'T put skill points in until the skill(s) below it are at a higher level.
Jerakeen
Specialization bonuses don't apply to fourth-tier skills. But some equipment bonuses may, so your point is well-taken.
ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε
whoops. in the past it has been like that (or has it?) and i assumed it was like that here. i didn't test it though, which would have saved me some embarrassment.

Punctuation rains from the heavens
There haven't been any SW games ever that use the system you described, Darth Ernie. Sorry.
