Easygoing Eyebeast Enraged Slith
What's the point? They don't out-damage swords and you can't use a shield with them.
Hatchling Cockatrice Slawbug
They do out-damage swords, thanks mainly to higher % bonuses to damage. I also thought some of them had higher multipliers, although that effect is not huge either.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Yeah, the percentage bonus isn't included in the listed base damage value of a weapon, which makes the listed damage value sort of misleading. It's a pretty minor difference, though: you're usually better off with a shield.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
poles have poisoning etc abilities while those swords I have got have been normal swords w/o specialities.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Two handed weapons will do more damage and on normal difficulty this will usually mean killing things quicker. But on higher difficulties where fight are going to take longer you want the damage reduction from a shield.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
1 sword (dunno if 2 haned sword) had same damage ratio than Rune-Etched Gnave and melee bonus.
