Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Unfortunately, you're going to have to work your way back south and west from there. The exit rejoins the main path just north of the unicorn gate, not far from the entrance to the maze. Some wall-bumping (or Far Sight) will be required. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The key is useful somewhere, but you are in a hurry to make your delivery. You can't explore everywhere on your first play through.

Curious Artila Zelos
Wait a minute... Why will i need wall-bumping or Far sight? And what's wallbumping?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Back in the day when Blades marked the last game engine that did it. Secret doors were only detected by the Far Sight spell to show that there might be something beyond a wall or the traditional method of using arrow keys to move along a wall and try to move through it by going perpendicular called wall bumping or head banging. Older players are quite familiar with this time honored tradition and when Avernum 4 came out kept going in spite of there no longer being secret doors that could be found this way. Avernum 5 started using secret switches to open the doors.
