Fledgling Fyora slinden
I get the quest from Solberg and when i follow him out of town he just disappears. Is that supposed to happen?
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
He suddenly disappeared after I finished the blight mushroom quest and I went to the commander in the castle and told her. When I came back to see if I can do any other quests to get magic spells, he was gone!
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Solberg is an impatient old codger, which is to be expected after a few hundred years. Solberg leaves Patrick's Tower after you finish the Aid Patrick's Tower quest to deal with the mushroom testing. You will meet up with him later. The second time you meet up he only is seen within Fort Duvno. He reappears outside the Fort at the destination in front of the Horned Gate. You might have to wait for him once you get there. Welcome to Spdierweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. NPC teleportation is more reasonable then.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Thank you! makes me sad I only have the demo.
Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
It's pretty reasonable regardless, given the whole archmage thing.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
Whats the differance between an archmage and a regular mage?
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Arch- in this context means "chief", or "principal". So an archmage has higher status than a regular mage; presumably more powerful, too.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
actually in Solberg's case it refers to the fact that with his advanced age has come a truly impressive case of kyphosis
Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
And here I always thought it referred to his dry wit.

Originally Posted By: Lilith actually in Solberg's case it refers to the fact that with his advanced age has come a truly impressive case of kyphosis Actually, what I have is hyperkyphosis. I blame all those years I spent in that small tower. Originally Posted By: FnordCola And here I always thought it referred to his dry wit. Hey, the only thing dry about me are my ashes! And may I get some slack on my mental issue? I'm always hearing things like "Solberg's crazy" or "Solberg's a nut case". What...You think that I'm the only crazy archmage around. Let me provide a list. 1. Erika and her plot for revenge. Crazy but justifiable 2. Linda enough said 3. X's anvil spell 4. Garzahd's consorting with demons 5. The Anama ok so their not mages but they are plenty crazy! 6. Rentar-Ihrno's thirst for vengence 7. Gladwell's thirst for power. Fledgling Fyora Solus Coda
I've just finished the quest where I go to Formello, and now after having been redirected by the castle back to Patrick's Tower to talk to Solberg, he isn't there! How do I solve this problem? Or am I looking in the wrong place?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Solberg is now at Fort Duvno. He may be old be he doesn't like to sit around and do nothing.
Fledgling Fyora Solus Coda
You are right. I should have known that from the quest text. That is what I get for staying up until 3 AM playing the game until I am bleary-eyed. Sorry for the obvious question!
