Chittering Clawbug Glassk
So, i'm playing through this scenario (and it's much better then the first two). Morog's Castle, trap-book near room with Crystal Pedestal mine. http://i043.radikal.ru/1106/38/e85c20b7c220.jpg This is just a trap, or it can do something useful? Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
What is it with you and secrets? What you learn from this experience is that you should pay attention to Jeff's warnings: Quote: "Only a creature as powerful as a lich could control a magical tome this formidable." It is a trap that does something useful, from Morog's perspective.
Chittering Clawbug Glassk
I like secrets. I not even going to ask about the chair transmutator. What about altar in Deep Caverns? http://s54.radikal.ru/i143/1106/bd/6e9410fc1135.jpg Ritual of Sanctification seems to do nothing. Nothing more to be done with it? Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
You mean besides the options listed? I suggest you try them if you think it's a good idea. Er, you should probably save first. The Ritual should do something, just not anything good.
Chittering Clawbug Glassk
I do save about 2 times in 4 minute. There are a few questions. The most interesting question - how to solve the puzzle of the mirrors, in the Khoth's castle. My first playthrough of the scenario was interrupted at this point. http://s41.radikal.ru/i093/1106/04/7ec604304cfe.jpg Again - how to get there? Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Good luck. If there's a way to get to that body without cheating, I never found it.
Chittering Clawbug Glassk
french connection etc... What are the things on this body?
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Mithril chain mail, some gold, and a broken sword.
Chittering Clawbug Glassk
ARGHHHHH! Nothing important, well. Maybe it's lack of level design, how do you think?
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Looking at it, I think it would take 3 movable mirrors to break the southernmost beam projector. I can't remember if there are that many available, or which kind they are, but by the time I get to Khoth's palace, I'm usually fed up and I have no patience for wading through all those beams collecting mirrors. My favourite use for the mirrors there is to fry those two Djinni guarding the door.

Sometimes it's really just laziness. My scenario, Enemy at the Gates, originally had another character in it. But it was confusing, so I just deleted the character. I left all the dialog. You'll gain no exp, you know. This is not my method. I think, there is two movable mirrors. In my first walkthrough, i spent about 6-8 hours, destroying the emitters. Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
I know about the XP, but it's not as if there's a finite amount of it in BoA. At that point I'm thinking of the golems in the next room and I don't want to be bothered with the Djinni.
Chittering Clawbug Glassk
There is Zalat in Morog Castle, who teach about some skills. This is a random set of skills? For the first time going through the scenario I have learned Quick Strike, but now he has different skill set.

Edit: One of the Vahnatai trains in Quick Action.

Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
I don't think you can. It looks like something Jeff changed his mind about. The code for the reward you should get for going there has an error in it and wouldn't work anyway.

Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
No idea. There's a deep crawler in there, but I don't see any way to get to it.
Chittering Clawbug Glassk
I can not go to the Khoth's library, am I right? Where the protective runes is.
Chittering Clawbug Glassk
"You can find the Malachite Statue, a special item which gives you extra gold when you finish the scenario." How it work? I didn't found any extra gold, except 2500. Is that it?
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
You can get into one of the rooms--the rune is "damaged". I never found a buyer for the statue, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. You get the 2500 gold for completing the mission on time.
