Curious Artila promethean Posted May 29, 2011 Share Posted May 29, 2011 Original Genefore on an Alienware m11x latpop running windows 7 home premium. Core 2 Duo processor, nVidia GT 335m video card. Version 1.01 of Geneforge. There is noticeable mouse lag and generally sluggish performance of the game, for example slow movement and animation, at the same time that the game pushed processore usage to 100% on the core it's running off of. It seems like something in the game is pushing proc usage to 100%, monopolizing the proc even to the point where the rest of the game can't do what it needs to do. Well-Actually War Trall Micawber Posted May 29, 2011 Share Posted May 29, 2011 In preferences, you can set the mouse speed and scrolling speed to 'fast' which should reduce the lag.
