Tenderfoot Thahd Darkus
As excited as I am to try a new Spiderweb game, i'm finding it irritating to even attempt to play this. As soon as the program starts, the animations start playing in high speed, and it becomes almost completely unresponsive to the mouse. For the mouse to have any effect, I have to keep rapidly clicking and wait'll it finally decides to accept it. When I finally get in game, the animations are still running extremely fast and still almost entirely unresponsive to the mouse. Keyboard input seems to work fine. NPCs move around at breakneck speeds, overhead chat changes 5 times a second...The game is completely unplayable in this state, as it took me 15 minutes to get to the first dungeon because it refused to accept me clicking on a spot for the first 50 times. I've tried running fullscreen, windowed, compatibility mode with XP and Vista (I'm on 64-bit Win7) I've tried all 3 of the graphic settings, and still suffer the same problem. Anyone have any input on this? Or at least having the same issue...?
Well-Actually War Trall Spidweb
Haven't heard any reports of this behavior yet. A good guess is a corrupted game file. Uninstall the game, download a fresh copy from our web site, and reinstall. - Jeff Vogel
Tenderfoot Thahd Sub zero
Download cheatengine from cheatengine.org. After this choose flicking computer and press avadon.exe, press speed hack, type 0.3, press aply. It work on mostly online games, maybe it can help. Tenderfoot Thahd Darkus
Spidweb, I uninstalled, downloaded from each of the windows links, and reinstalled. It still suffers the same problem. Subzero, rather strange solution, I see what you're getting on with it, but it didn't help.
