I'm guessing that you're talking about the control chamber on the holding cell level of the school in VoDT. If you haven't already, you need to talk to Pythras, the dragon who is being held on the storage level. She will give you the password if you agree to help her. Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 Oh, of course, you couldn't have had the opening stone you mentioned earlier if you hadn't met Pythras yet. Hm, the link to the walkthrough doesn't seem to work anymore. Well, basically, if you have the instructions from Pangle, make your way to the northernmost of the three chairs near the center of the chamber and sit in it. That's really all you need to do here, though taking a little time to explore will yield rewards. If you don't have the instructions, you might as well turn around and go get them. However, before the words manage to come together the mist disipates, and they fade again." "You stand up, confused. Perhaps you aren't authorized to use the chair, or the system is no longer funktional." And when i sit in the north chair it says: "You return to the funktional control panel. You could try to do something else with it, but the inadequacy of the instructions, combined with your lack of knowlidge of the workings of the school, makes that a dangerous procedure." You would have seen this when it happened: Click to reveal.. The moment you sit down, words appear on the surface of the pedestal, written in glowing letters of green mist. The words are in your tongue, but don't make sense to you. Weird phrases like "Directory Structure" and "Flow Control". Fortunately, you do have the scrolls of instructions you got from Pangle, and while they didn't make any sense before, they do now. From here, you can magically control gates and machinery all throughout the School of Magery. Commands are issued by pointing at the appropriate words of mist. Searching the instructions, you find the area describing waste disposal. Soon, you are able to bring up the command to reactivate the waste destruction system. Crossing your fingers, you point at the command. There is a pause, and a short chiming noise. The words "Power to Waste Cleanup System. System Reactivated. Waste Cleanup Panel can now be used." The letters of mist disappear, and the room goes dark. Hmm. Now where is the Waste Cleanup Panel? The message you're describing only appears after that. You're done here.
