Articulate Vlish Thirsting Gemstone
While I find working for Taygen very distasteful, I have a point of conetntion: when i created the purity agent, tehre was a massive reption of focus on how it would not slay drakons and thus we must kill Glahdring. Is there a way to add some Drakon to the brew so it doesn't do that?
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
Nope. You'll have to kill him the old-fashioned way. Dikiyoba.
Articulate Vlish Thirsting Gemstone
Ah, I see. And is there any way to save Taygen's consort so he doesn't go crazy?
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Nope. The game doesn't want you to feel good about siding with Taygen.

Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
Perhaps it would be fairer to say that the game actively wants you to feel bad about siding with Taygen (as if a reasonable person would need any help), whereas Astoria, Alwan, and Litalia are more the "bittersweet victory" endings. Ghaldring's sort of in between.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Tracer Bullet
Ghaldring is no good however you construe it. I guess that's why he dies no matter what side you're on.
Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
He's pretty universally hated. My point is more that the narrator is less invested in making you hate yourself if you side with Ghaldring than with Taygen. Of course, part of that is the fact that you overthrow him in his ending. It's a shame that only Ghaldring-followers get to kill Taygen. As a random thug put it in Hellblazer, "There's a face you'd never get tired of kicking." Ineffable Wingbolt Tirien
It's still fun to sabatage the purity agent and ruin his life, and I probably would eventualy get tired of kicking him in the face. Now, if he looked like the adoring fan from oblivion...
Kyshakk Koan Txgangsta
You could kill him if you side with Litalia. After you sabotage the purity agent, will the council attack you when you try to visit them? Or do you need to meet him after saying hello to the council members? Either way, there's a way to kill him and not get too much backlash.
Articulate Vlish Thirsting Gemstone
On the topic of Taygen, does his Consort ever matter in any way?

I can empathize with Alwan's and Astoria's positions, for example.

I have maybe two issues of that comic, plus one TPB, but I have that scene. Brutal.
Unflappable Drayk Ceiling Durkheim
In fairness, after what the guy in question did, it would take me a fair while to tire of kicking him in the face as well. He's pretty overwhelmingly despicable. (Oh hey, kinda like Taygen!)
