Curious Artila Karacan
Alright, so Jeff repeatedly stated that it's out for Mac in February. What about his non-Mac followers? We also love the sound of Avadon. (Though I suspect it's more like a scream than a gentel singing voice.)
Well-Actually War Trall Niemand
It will probably be a few extra months, perhaps about three, judging from Geneforge 5 and Avernum 6. There's likely a bit of programming to be done for porting, and then beta testing needs to be conducted.
Curious Artila Karacan
Just wondering if I missed some info there. Ah well. Woe is me. I'm still not buying a Mac for my early Spiderweb fix, sorry. (But you know, I'd love to pre-order.)
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
I for one am more than content to wait. Spiderweb has plenty of other games to occupy my time while Jeff makes the Windows version.
Curious Artila Karacan
Well, it's not like we have a choice. But given that I'm playing Jeff's games since Exile 2, I think I'm pretty much through all of them. Except Geneforge, which was decidedly "meh" apart from part 5, which was decidedly awesome. Anyway. Really curious here.
Seasoned Roamer Coach
You know that old Infocom games line, "Oh, no! A lurking, slavering grue has jumped out of the shadows and devoured you!" Waiting for Avadon makes me feel like a lurking, slavering grue.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Tracer Bullet
How about "Death and Drek!" or "Give me blood, men!" or "Enjoy your next life!" or the classic "*****You have Died*****" followed by "you know, you probably deserve another chance, I can't fix you up properly, but there you go..." and then you end up in the woods with no inventory.
