how do you change the background music?

To the best of my knowledge, you don't. You can turn off the sound in the preferences, but you can't actually change the sound.

it says you can- a message keeps popping up saying i can replace the 'Exile Music' file. but i don't know what file format it uses. i thought it was .mod but it doesn't recognise any .mod files i replace it with.
