Meele shaper![G5]

I was trying to survive on easy, and found I made a Meele shaper! my shaper hits more often with meele than anything else! please, is this a glitch, or is it really possible?

Melee combat is surprisingly effective for all classes early on, but don't rely on it beyond the first few zones.

You also will find the cost to upgrade fighting skills makes this a hard build.

It'll get harder past the demo. You'll want a few creations to help you out.

I have creations, but my shaper itself is a melee fighter

Eventually you'll find that your creations start doing more damage relative to you; melee damage doesn't scale up very well later in the game, and battle magic is iffy too. By the later stages of the game, your shaper will mostly be a supporting character, protecting your creations with buffs, healing and mental magic.

If you are playing on a lower difficulty level, I would suggest trying as a warrior. It is possible to be good at melee while still having four creations to back you up, and it's still possible to get low to medium level spells.

my first run was a melee shaper on normal. I don't know if it was harder, because just now still on my second run of the game. I did, however ended up pumping a lot on INT on him. I ended up being the 2nd meat shield towards the mid to late game.
