Burgeoning Battle Gamma Flipstylez
Hi guys. I get the Undead part, but what are "Constructs"? The monsters around the Undead? Or whatever the enemy shapes DURING the fight? Also, what does "+2% Energy Preservation" do to me? Thanks in advance!

I believe the Construct template is a holdover from Avernum, and in Geneforge it only applies to Golems. +10 Probably just means 10 extra damage points. 2% EnPres just means that spells cost 98/100ths the usual cost. Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Shades are constructs, not undead. Actual undead are fairly rare in Geneforge but they do exist -- ghosts and the like. I don't think the ability applies to Golems, which are shaped, after all, albeit differently from normal creations.

Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Nope they're not undead, just decomposing.

Well-Actually War Trall The Ratt
Another useful note, last time I checked the +10 to Undead/Constructs actually made no difference in damage dealt to the Undead/Constructs. It generally is a skill that is considered worthless. Someone can correct me if new evidence has arisen.
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Anecdotally no one has ever noticed a real damage increase. I don't remember seeing any actual test, though. It's possible the skill does SOMEthing, just probably not a flat +10 to damage.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Flipstylez
hmm, i should juz sell those things then. BTW, has anyone made a list of the "types" of monsters? Like, I didnt know Rothgoths are not considered Undead. I tried to search but I didn't see any. So we know what items to use against who.. The items that I equipped totaled about +45 and.... it didn't do anything, to the golems. Normal hits. I'm going to have to find shades to test it on. Yea, that "enhancement" seem worthless...
