Burgeoning Battle Gamma Flipstylez Posted October 22, 2010 Share Posted October 22, 2010 Hi, I tried to send myself the ".dat" file and install a version of this game to another computer. I thought that would bring up my saved games from my old computer but it didn't. I even tried to send the .exe file and delete the .exe file from the new computer, to hopefully get the saved games. Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic Posted October 22, 2010 Share Posted October 22, 2010 If you're using windows, there should be a folder called "Geneforge 5 saved games" in your documents folder. Copy this folder from the old computer to a flash drive, then from the flash drive to the new computer. Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. Kyshakk Koan Mistb0rn Posted October 22, 2010 Share Posted October 22, 2010 There should be a 'Geneforge 5 Saved Games' or similar folder somewhere on your computer. That's the folder you need to copy to your new computer, if I recall correctly. If it isn't in the same folder as the game itself, try looking in 'My Documents'.
