Fledgling Fyora havok
Ok,I played Av1 and 2 awhile ago, and also Exile 3 from which Av3 is based on, the question is, which Av should I try next? or are they almost the same just different text and dialogues (4,5,6). Magnificent Ornk Ephesos
Blades of Avernum. If you liked the original Avernum engine, and want to play a variety of scenarios by community members, it's your best bet.
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
A4-6 are new games with a new engine. A4 isn't great if you've played the earlier games, and A5 is hit-or-miss, but A6 is solid in all respects. Dikiyoba.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. A4-6 share the same engine, and it's not the same as the A1-3 engine. The games are all different, and in a bit more than just dialogue. Really, this is what the demos are for. Download them and give them a whirl. —Alorael, who would say that just continuing through the series makes sense. After E3/A3, you see what happens next by playing A4. (Or, to be fair, A5; the series is forgiving about skipping ahead.) And yes, getting sidetracked by Blades is worthwhile. No one can play your scenarios if you don't release them *hint hint*.
