Avarakadavra
I had a mission from Gladwell on some cells or tunnel,i don't know sure and there was three doors. in the first i've found 4 or 5 blue lizards(they were powerful enough!)in the second was my mission from gladwell(there were 6 or more ancient spirits and you can't imagine how powerful they were, but i haven't destroyed them i should only resist for a while-mission acomplished) and in the third was the SHADE CONSTRUCT. I'we tryed to destroy it. But i haven't even resisted,so how to destroy it? skribbane doesnt help me anymore. The shade is attaking me with lighting and it's very powerful. any idea about how to destroy it??? i really wana know what he'll give me if i'll defeat him... Kreador
Gladwell only asked you to go to the door with the six ancient spirits. Once they've wandered off, you can go back to Gladwell with the mission complete. He gives you nothing for killing the other monsters in those tunnels. You do get XP and some items, though. The shade construct, being undead, is best killed with priest spells and from a distance where his area attack won't get you. But you can save him for later in the game when you're a bit stronger, really.
Avarakadavra
yeah, but if i'll kill it he'll give me something good??? or only XP? because it is really strong, too strong... and it should give me an rare item, like rare razodysk, even if it's impossible, but something like that,or madness scroll,i don't know... avvv
Shade construct gives some loot and is worth killing. I managed to kill it because it was so dumb that it kept chasing one of my characters around its nest while the others bombarded it with spells, repel spirit is pretty effective. The lightning is always released before the shade moves so you can avoid it easily by keeping your distance. You can also just decide to kill it when you're stronger. Avarakadavra
I want to kill it right now. and arcane blow is more and more effective than repel spirit. i have one nephil based on magic spells on my group. her arcane spells are strong. i have an human priest skilled with divine restoration. one slithzeraki skilled very well on using halberd and spears and one human archer. and a lot of rare items. it should be enough to destroy the shade. Randomizer
The trick is to avoid the area effect attack by running around the outer edge of the room. Use summoned creatures to slow the shade construct down. Use range attacks to damage it and give fighters wands to use if your missle weapons don't do enough. Battle disciplines to weaken the construct and increase damage help.
Mod.
How far are you through the game? There is no rush to kill the construct. You also never mentioned the fungal construct between the basilisks and the shades. Click to reveal.. All it drops is demon bile if I remember correctly. I think the fungal construct dropped blasted greaves which are nice.
Øther
I think the construct dropped a good shield, but I may be wrong. I think I did Glawell's quest sometime before or around the great portal (maybe a bit after, but I really am not sure when), but when I did it, I think I cleared out the other rooms too. Though I'm not sure when I did it or how powerful I was when I did it, I know that I was able to kill the construct before my mage or priest had and high level spells. Avarakadavra
So if I'll destroy him I'll get demon bile? Are you sure?
Jerakeen
It drops demon's bile and a radiant shield. For sure.
Avarakadavra
A powerful shield. This should be enough.
