Kyshakk Koan Velzan
I appear to be at a loss for entry into fort emerald. Is it Possible or are the guards just There to laugh at you?
Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Not possible.
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
What part of the game are you at? I just hit Mertis, and still no entry, but it may be possible later in the game.
Garrulous Glaahk Fael
It's not.
Kyshakk Koan Velzan
but Fort emerald is a big part of avernum
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
Really? I thought it was Fort Monastery that was unaccessible.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Fort Monastery is accessible once you remove the sliths in the way. Fort Emerald isn't accessible this game.
Easygoing Eyebeast VCH
You can get into Fort Emerald.
Articulate Vlish echoes
Fort Emerald is the bonus area if you pre-ordered the Mac version at Gamestop.

Kyshakk Koan Mod.
Does the script exist on the windows version? I can't seem to find it.

Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Well there is a second group blocking the other way. Although you could run past them.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Kreador
The little group of Horde soldiers blocking the other way is minor compared to the tactical annoyance waiting for you inside the shop you need to go through. ;-)

Fledgling Fyora alexment
Where can I find this script?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The scripts for all the zones are in a folder marked scripts in the Avernum 6 Files folder. You neeed to find two scripts: z47ftemer.txt z47ftemerdlg.txt the first is the characters and the second is for dialog with characters in the zone. Fledgling Fyora cstanley1976
What do you get to do in FT. Emerald if you would have pre-ordered it through Game STop? Just wondering.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
avernum 6 is an obscure indie game gamestop has never sold it and never will the post you are replying to is what we in the business call a "joke"
Fledgling Fyora cstanley1976
ahhh gotcha. I had not heard about gamestop selling it. I buy all the games on the main site. They are great games and can't wait to see what the next series will be.
Curious Artila GingerGlaahk
So how can I tweak the script in order to get inside?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You would need to insert code to open a gate as part of a dialog with a guard. Use code like you find to get into Fort Remote or Fort Saffron, but I don't know what the gate location for the map is off hand.
Unflappable Drayk Toby-Linn
Wait, one of the quests I have is to find a guy named Koepp (sp?) who was last seen fleeing towards Fort Emerald. Now I went to Fort Emerald but I thought the reason I couldn't get in was because I had the demo version. Now I understand that I won't be able to get into Fort Emerald at all? Does that mean that Koepp is not inside Fort Emerald, and if so can I complete the quest while still playing the demo? On a side note, not being able to get into Fort Emerald kinda sucks, I like being able to explore every part of the game.
Fledgling Fyora sPunky
hopefully in future patches Jeff can make it accessible =)
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
Originally Posted By: Toby-Linn Does that mean that Koepp is not inside Fort Emerald, and if so can I complete the quest while still playing the demo? Koepp is just west east of Fort Emerald. Find the abandoned tannery and head downstairs. You'll have to disarm a few traps to reach him. Dikiyoba even thought east and then somehow went and typed west anyway. *sigh*
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Koepp is east of Fort Emerald and north of The Castle.
