Well, all those comments effectively slaughtered that joke.

In response to the article, I've always wondered where this mass of stupid people authors tend to refer to come from. You would think there would be some sort of veracity to the statement, but it's really just ego-masturbation, and has no place in any argument. On a slightly related note, I've been told this is the main reason Galileo was forced to recant his work.

...I was pretty certain that was actually because he didn't follow official church doctrine and the Pope at the time was a bit of a stickler for the rules.

Also, the comments on this were half the fun to me.

It was less about following doctrine and more about making the church look like fools in the way the material was presented.

You could add more references to itself, and put in a sentence stating that it's a sentence in your signature.

This sentence ends a post by the Mystic.

This sentence notifies this thread that endless self-reference without reference to a greater whole places that very whole in jeopardy.

—Alorael, whose signature consists of a single sentence describing itself. Well, two sentences, one of which is a lie. The other one isn't.

This sentence jokingly points out that comments on blogs are never worth reading.

In this sentence, Dikiyoba points out that Alorael's link has been posted to Spiderweb numerous times before and therefore it is likely that you have read it before.
