Tcheedchee
Hello, is the clear-tunnel-quest given by Oenslager in Bargha solvable? I can handle the monsters, but the second set of mines always kills me with very high damage-values. The values of the hitpoints are extremely high. So can I clear the tunnel starting from Bargha? My tool use is 11 or 12. Including the tinker's bauble. I also seem to have missed something in the Honeycomb Horrors-quest at Mertis. I have cleared out the cultists in the Honeycomb Hideout. (They were really tough buggers…) I've also found the Dragon Gate. Not to speak of all the other monsters, ogres and the like in all the other tunnels. But something seems to be missing… I've managed to receive the kill Ghavassa-Oss Quest from Levitt. My party has reached levels 30 (slith) to 33 (humans). Lilith
1) You'll need a little more tool use: some of the traps in that area require Tool Use of up to 15. Come back with at least 13. 2) The quest is to get through the Dragon's Gate, find out who's creating the monsters and stop them. Have you managed to find a way through the Dragon's Gate yet? You'll need to use your boat to find a side entrance.
Randomizer
The mines in Bargha are up to TU 11 in Bargha except for the two that release monsters where you need up to 15 and the one in Melanchion's Realm that's 13 (but I don't think you need that one). Soul of Wit
As I recall, there were two mines that you could ignore under Bargha and still complete the quest. If you get to the far end (you'll be blocked by a gate) then the quest is fulfilled.
echoes
Soul of Wit is right. You can complete the quest without triggering the really deadly traps.
