Character editing

So, in the Geneforge games I've seen fan made editors that simply set your skills to a level you determine, which is pretty neat and all. What I'd like to do, though, is change the number of skill points you actually gain at each level. Is that possible? That way your characters don't suddenly get uber; instead, you could roleplay them as a 'prodigy' (well, even more so than usual), who becomes more powerful more quickly than 'normal' people.

 

I don't even know if that's possible without some form of hacking though. What do you guys think?

 

Incidentally, I was here on the boards before; my email that I used then is inactive, and I can't recall the name, so I had to make a new account. I went by the reverse order of the two words in my name, heh.

Not possible in Geneforge, I'm afraid.

It's not possible, but you can use a cheat to level up faster. I suppose that's better then nothing.

 

~Artemis and cheats. I play through without them at first, and then run through a game with them. It takes about an hour.

That's an interesting idea. What do you gain by re-playing so fast? A better overview of the story?
