Fluff
I was feeling bored, so I decided to complete the quest for that smith and kill an Unbound One. So I camped out by the side of the road on the Dera South Shore, and waited for my prey. Eventually, I sensed it aproaching from the west, so I created three Shock Tralls, blessed and shieled them, and marched off to what was sure to be the greatest fight of my life so far. Five rocks later, there was a pool of blood sitting next to a freshly-summoned Rot-thing. Then two more Unbound entered the area. Exit me Stage Left. So what's the point of those big glowy lizard things?
Randomizer
Some of the Unbound have decent area effect attacks and when you don't have lots of creations pounding it down quickly they can be a hard fight. Try doing it with a single character like a guardian/warrior or agent/infiltrator and you will see a much harder fight.
Fluff
This one just used its single turn making a Rot-thingy and breathing fire. Then it died.
A less presumptuous name.
Pound for pound, Shock Tralls are the best freshly created creations. Three of them can take out an unbound without much trouble, especially when buffed. If it's too easy for you, crank up the difficulty (provided you're not already on torment). Dikiyoba
By the time you're into the Dera Reaches, the Unbound shouldn't be that big a deal any more. Wait until you get to the golems in Kayar Spire Cells if you want the fight of your life. Dikiyoba.
A less presumptuous name.
I have never managed to kill those without being killed myself. Then again, I haven't played in a long while.
Dantius
Try a torment glass cannon infiltrator, then come back and we'll see if you sing the same tune.
Randomizer
The Kayar Spire Cells golems are only a pain because of the constant debuffs. If you attack them one by one and lure the one off away from the patrol route than they are easy. A swarm requires constant healing and lots of armor. A less presumptuous name.
Hence my problem. I was never able to successfully lure them away, and I got fed up with trying after a few tries.
Acky
I managed to kill a whole pack of those Golems on Torment with my Warrior and his Trall pack. They were all around level 50. *shudder* Lost my whole group, and my warrior barely got out for his life. Those basterds make Sammann look like a pushover.
