Tenderfoot Thahd Supernaut
Are the Journal entries in Geneforge 5 supposed to be editable by me? Or do they get loaded/written automatically at certain points or events in the game? Just curious - I wanted to take some notes and didn't see it mentioned in the instructions. Thanks, JB
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
Whenever a text box pops up to describe something or whenever you are talking to someone, there is a little book icon at the bottom. That's the record button and it will stick that text into your journal. You access your journal the same way you access your special items and current quests: the scroll icon next to the get button. It's handy for keeping track of things like crafting recipes but kind of clunky otherwise. Dikiyoba.
Easygoing Eyebeast Dantius
It's kind of useless because everyone here already knows the crafting recipes, and even if you didn't, you could just abuse save/reload and experiment to find out what worked and what didn't. Tenderfoot Thahd Supernaut
Dikiyoba - thanks for the info - don't think I noticed the book icon in the dialogue boxes (still in the demo) - I'll try that when I get home. Thanks! JB
