Well-Actually War Trall Acky
As some of you may know, I and a few others have been making a Geneforge Wiki, Danette's Library. Work has been going well, and the project is underway. Recently, I've started working on the article specifically discussing the war (what I've come to call "The Terrestian Rebellion"), and I've hit a wall. I'm not sure as to what ending should be used. At first the rebel ending was going to be used because jeff said in an interview that he would pick the creations/rebels. But I feel that a community discussion would be far more productive. This is not a debate on which side is right. Its a discussion as to which ending you think would be best. - The Great Archon
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
I think picking a canonical ending is itself wrong. The series does not and should not have one. —Alorael, who if forced would have to vote for Rawal's ending. It at least keeps everything suitably ambiguous. Well-Actually War Trall Chessrook44
What's the Canon ending? ... ... ... Ain't THAT the million dollar question!
Unflappable Drayk Sleeping Dragon
I'm kind of hoping that Jeff does the same thing with Geneforge that he did with Exile. Meaning when he remakes it, I hope he continues making games past the final one in the series.
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
I dont think the rawal would suffice because the wiki is a history and without the ending it does make it harder to right some articles. Im personaly thinking that we should create an ending in which the war ends in a draw. The G4 area belongs to rebels....G5 area belongs to shapers
Articulate Vlish Finch
that also brings in the question though which shaper faction? Alwan, Taygen or even the traitor Astoria
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
the shapers can stick with their council in western/central terrestia. And the rebels can do their thing in eastern.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Artemis~
Honestly, I think that this topic is so trivial that you should make it rebel, because I'm sure that you've dreamed up several aspects already.
Well-Actually War Trall Acky
What makes it "trivial". And what the hell do you mean, "you've dreamed up several aspects already"? Make my own ending?
Rotghroth Rhapsody Artemis~
nonono, I mean that you've got a better understanding, and it'll be easier for you to write. That was a pretty neutral comment. Geez, now i'm going to have to declare my undying love for you. I LOVE YOU ACKROVAN. oh, and it's trivial because there are alot of opinions on the ending. Curious Artila Jeanne
Why not put all of the possible endings?
Well-Actually War Trall Acky
The wiki speaks as if the Geneforge universe is real. Therefore, making listing all possible endings would break character.
Unflappable Drayk Sleeping Dragon
Why not just act as if the game hasn't ended yet? Have the current point in the timeline be somewhere during the last game, not after it. Really, the wiki loses nothing by you doing this. It would probably by worse in fact if you started putting information in it that was less than true.
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
That would be difficult Sleeping Dragon due to the nature of the wiki. Its speaks as if the war had ended/
Unflappable Drayk Sleeping Dragon
I see. Well, if that's how you guys really want it to be, just pick your favorite ending, I guess. Astoria's ending keeps most of the Geneforge feel intact. Everyone makes sacrifices and compromises, and things feel as if they will always be a bit tense despite her work for peace. It's a good ending to go with if you really insist on choosing one at all.

Garrulous Glaahk Namine
Go with Alwan's ending, everyone lives in peace ^^.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Hypnotic
I feel the best ending would be the most common. That is you expire and the war contiunes. How it ends would be the most logical order of events that would occour without your charcters interferance. How each charcter ends is (possibly) irrelvent as old age claims all.
