Burgeoning Battle Gamma Ganduv
Yeah so my character is a shaper and I have equipped him with the Assassin's boots but now when I go into combat most of the time I have 9 AP instead of 10 AP its like its completely random for me is this normal or what? Also I am not encumbered I have 37/45 pounds right now.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Whether you get the bonus AP each round is random so even with 3 different bonus AP items equipped you will get a different number each round. If you have less than your encumbered amout you shouldn't have less AP. Go into a safe area and use fight mode to see what happens. It's better to test it out before doing it in combat. 37/45 should be fine.
Kyshakk Koan Drakon Sssharxx
You can have 44/45 and your AP will not be affected although i do not have much expiriance with AP boosting items.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Each bonus AP seems to have about a 50-50 chance of taking effect every round, or maybe a little more. So if you manage to equip a total of four bonus AP worth of gear, you'll end up with at least 10 AP most of the time.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Ganduv
Yeah I've been doing that and I'm not encumbered I can still attack but every round I either have 10 or 9 AP and unfortunately with 9 I can't use 2 spells or abilitys because I always buff my creations, if I got that Quicksilver plate thing would it make it to where I could do 2 things each round? Rotghroth Rhapsody Artemis~
try checking your equipment for enhancements like "minus 2 action points," and plus something else [like strength.]

Reread Thuryl's post. You have about a 25% chance of 8 AP, a 50% chance of 9 AP, and a 25% chance of 10 AP. (I don't think that formula is quite accurate, but it's within the ballpark.) Adding another source of AP will shift the odds further in your favor, but there will still be rounds with only one action. —Alorael, who doesn't understand why encumbrance and loss of AP are coming up. There is no loss of AP. There just isn't sufficient gain of AP for Ganduvvv's desires.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Ganduv
I see what you mean Unity I thought If you had +2 AP you would always have that ammount of AP, I get it now
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
its random
Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
Unless, of course you have the scripts give a character a certain number of bonus action points, then the number will always stay the same. I just went up a title! And apparently my title is gender confused.
Ineffable Wingbolt Spddin Ignis
Does luck increase the chance that you will get more action points when wearing an item that enhances Ap
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
I don't think anyone has tested it, but my guess is no. —Alorael, who doesn't think Luck does all that many exciting things anymore. Its heyday has passed.
