Rotghroth Rhapsody Duck in a Top Hat
Has anyone ever tried to sell their BoA/BoE scenarios?
Easygoing Eyebeast Enraged Slith
Go for it. After Jeff sues you for all you're worth and easily wins it, he might be able to invest some extra time into fixing some BoA bugs and adding some features. Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
Probably violates the license.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
*coughillegalcough* Umm...no. Why would you want to?
Well-Actually War Trall Niemand
It is indeed specifically prohibited in the Editor license: Quote: YOU MAY NOT: - Charge any sort of fee or shareware fee for any scenarios created by or for use with this Program. Rotghroth Rhapsody Feo Takahari
Though come to think of it, this might be a good way for Jeff to turn a quick profit. Something similar was tried for Neverwinter Nights, and I think it worked.
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
No one, to my knowledge, has ever tried to sell scenarios. First, it is prohibited by the license. Second, even suggesting it is a slap in the face to all the good designers who have given their time and effort for free so you have these scenarios to play. Rotghroth Rhapsody Duck in a Top Hat
*facepalm* I had no idea this was against the license. Maybe I need to start reading those. Well, that's a little closer to a lawsuit than I had hoped to come in my life.
Ineffable Wingbolt aka Ravenwing
Illegality aside, I can't honestly picture anyone actually buying a BoA scenario. There are already dozens, tried and reviewed, that are free. Call me cheap, but I'd hit those first anyway.
