Wind Wolf Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 Guardian Makar wont even mention the stoneworks much less let me in there. He refers to me as a 'warped one'. I have only used one or two canisters. I can't nail him as the assasion without access to the stoneworks. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thank you for any and all help, WW. Acky Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 Have you gotten the quest from Astoria to go to Karotoa-Kel? Without it, he won't let you in. Øther Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 Once you get the quest from Astoria, you need to take some dialogue options that end up with his assistant leaving. Then go talk to her, and if you have good leadership, she will give you a key. You don't need it to get in the stoneworks, but it is (I think) helpful. Randomizer Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 The Stoneworks Key lets you avoid the first group of golems so you can recruit the first group of unfinished golems and avoid a second guardian golem group to recruit the second unfinished golem pair. It also lets you in the backdoor to the guardian roamer room. All of these areas can be reached without the key, but you have to fight to get in them. Makar needs the quest from Astoria and then you have to go through some more dialog to get into the Stoneworks. He'll call you a warped one whatever happens.
