estotro Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 My pc lost power mid-game and when I restarted and resumed, it no longer allows me to save the game, giving this error message: "Save Error: Couldn't save some data. Try saving in a different slot. Error 51." Any idea on how to fix this? I tried every slot with the same message, although my autosaves are still working fine. Edit: Ok, got it to save my game, but now its totally messed up. Any container or anything (forge, ground, box) I try to open has no items and I cant drop any of my items either. It says (Cant put any more items in here. Try storing some items in a different area.) Items aren't loading anywhere, no junk anywhere in any town. Should I just reinstall the game? Toby-Linn Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 I believe (from what I have heard from others with this problem) that the save game file has been corrupted. I think your only option is to go back to a saved game before you had this problem. You could try re-installing the game, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.
