Icy Fire Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 When I was leveling up for Basalt Fortress in Mertis (Doing the Clearing the Spiral Quest) all of my characters where encumbered, so I dropped off all of my quest items at the back of some farmer guys house. I forget about them, and a long time later go to Patrick's Tower, and find two of the stolen books. I realize that I left the other three by Mertis, and dash back, only to find nothing. (I already have the quest, and really hate to have a quest lying around forever.) I am 99% sure that I left them there. Are there more than five books under the Tower? Ishad Nha Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 If they are lost and if there are no more under the Tower you will need to alter the Init State of some town script to give yourself the items. I will need to research what the stolen books are. Edit: this should do the trick: reward_give(433); Add the above line to the Init State of a town script, if you want three books add the line three times. That line of script just gives you another copy of the research books. —Alorael, who supposes this turns the town into Sylak's Exuberance Trash, but for books.
