Shrapy
Hello. I'm new here and just started Geneforge 4. I absoulutely love it and have already ordered the game's code. I'm curious to know which class should I play as before I get to far in. I'm not looking for a challenge; just a casual play threw. Whcih class would be the easiest? (begins to bake a pie for the first to answer)
Feo Takahari
The Servile is generally considered the best, though some favor the Infiltrator. (I've seen calculations that if you want to use both magic and weapons, you're better off with the Servile.) The Shaper is quite fun to some people, but I've always been intimidated by having to manage the leveling and development of all my little creations. The Shock Trooper isn't worth bothering with (though it gets better in G5.) The Warrior is generally considered the weakest class, but I've found that it's rather satisfying to destroy your foes with a steel blade rather than an army of monstrosities or a rain of fire. sean_lo
Play a lifecrafter. With your pets(no int points spent) you can just sit back and watch them kill every single thing in the game.
Randomizer
Go with what you like in other games. Spellcasting is usually the infiltrator, but a servile can do it too. Fighters prefer a servile or warrior. Lifecrafters use a pack of creations, but for the first time it's hard to play.

Dikiyoba likes the shock trooper. It takes patience, but Dikiyoba finds leading a pack of creations into battle is a lot more fun than using magic. When I play as a lifecrafter, I prefer to give my creations the 2 intelligence, or just play (mostly) as a singleton. Otherwise, my creations tend to charge the strongest enemy in sight, and get massacred within three rounds.
Shrapy
Thanks guys. I think I'll go with the Servile. A little steel with some blesses. (Gives Feo Takahari his pie)
