Unrulyevil5
What I've noticed in the Blades of Avernum character editor is that Jeff Vogel forgot to put in one of the special gems which allows you to cast moving mountains at level
Celtic Minstrel
Presumably, that means the item was never there. So I don't see how that's a memory lapse on Jeff's part.
Dikiyoba
It's (probably) the only default crystal you can't get in the editor, which is why is absence is odd. However, you couldn't get it in A2 or A3 either, so it wasn't suddenly left out of BoA. Dikiyoba.
Ephesos
...actually, Shattering Crystals are still in the game, just not one of the immediate options in the Character Editor. If you go to Advanced Features and pick Give an Item, then just enter "328" and hit Enter. That'll give you a Shattering Crystal (item #328), and you can get to busting down walls. Emmisary of Immanence
A likely reason for its omission is the fact that breaking walls could easily be game-wrecking. Of course there's also no good way to keep those game-wrecking wall-busters out of your scenario anyway and you could blow up walls with spells in the original trilogy, so Jeff's choice is just a touch odd. —Alorael, who chalks it up to weird design or possibly intentions that never got anywhere. It's not the only or even biggest oddity in Spiderweb games.
