Tenderfoot Thahd cajela Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 OK, so I have found Rentar's fortress behind Frt Remote and cleared out half of it - the upper level with Vahnahtai assistance, but then I lost them. But I need a key for the other half and I have no idea where to find it. I have 2 copies of the crystal key, one of which was in a Vahnahtai box by the locked door... I've done all the quests I can think of - still need Grall Ihrno's fine waveblade, but I am now stuck with this or getting to the Abyss. I guess there's a back route somewhere - but where? Easygoing Eyebeast *i Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 Those doors cannot be opened until you beat Rentar. At the end of the upper level spiral is a stairway, take that. Follow your Vahnatai allies north until you reach a gate. Head south, past the stairs you came down, fight a big area. Off to the east is a temple, head north of that to find a lever.
